Eligibility & How to Apply

At KD Foundation, we understand how overwhelming it can be when your child is seriously ill. Our free accommodation is here to ease some of that burden, offering a safe and welcoming place for families travelling to Sydney for hospital treatment.

Eligibility is open to families with a seriously ill child (aged 0-18) who are required to travel more than 100km from home for medical care. Accommodation is provided based on availability and genuine need, with priority given to those facing financial hardship or limited local support.

Applying is simple—just ask your hospital social worker or treating medical team to refer your family to KD Foundation. Our compassionate team will then guide you through the process to ensure you receive the support you need as quickly as possible.
